Automated Post-Discharge Adherence Check-Ins

Every morning, WebRun opens adherent360, finds patients who reached day 3 after a meds to beds discharge, reads how their fill and delivery went, drafts a short, personalized adherence check-in email in Gmail for your pharmacist to review, and posts your team a Slack note that new drafts are waiting.

In short

How do I follow up on medication adherence after discharge without emailing patients myself?

Each morning, WebRun opens adherent360 to find patients three days past a meds to beds discharge, reads how their fill and delivery went, and drafts a short adherence check-in email for a pharmacist to review. It posts your team a Slack note that drafts are ready, so no medication email reaches a patient without a person approving it first.

  • Every eligible patient gets a personalized draft ready for pharmacist review, not a generic blast
  • No adherence email reaches a patient without a licensed pharmacist approving it first
  • Readmitted or already contacted patients are excluded automatically so nobody gets a redundant email

Built for hospital pharmacy teams · meds to beds programs · clinical pharmacists · care transition and readmission teams

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens adherent360.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
    adherent360 - find patients due for a check-in

WebRun in adherent360: find patients due for a check-in
WebRun opens adherent360 to find patients due for a check-in.
    • Open the discharge history in adherent360 and filter to patients now 3 days post discharge
    • Read how their fill and delivery went: on time, delayed, refused, or a captured prescription
    • Skip anyone already flagged as readmitted or already contacted

Done when Every patient due for a day 3 check-in is listed with their delivery outcome.

  3. 2
Gmail - draft the adherence check-in
    gmail.com
WebRun in Gmail: draft the adherence check-in
WebRun opens Gmail to draft the adherence check-in.
    • Draft a short, plain language adherence check-in for each patient, referencing their own delivery outcome
    • Ask a simple, non clinical question like whether they have started the new medication
    • Leave every draft unsent in the pharmacist's Gmail drafts folder. Never send a health related email to a patient without a pharmacist reviewing it first

Done when A reviewable draft exists for every patient due for a check-in.

  4. 3
Slack - tell your team drafts are ready
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: tell your team drafts are ready
WebRun opens Slack to tell your team drafts are ready.
    • Post a short note to the pharmacy channel that today's check-in drafts are ready for review
    • Include the count of drafts and how many reference a delayed or refused delivery
    • Leave the actual sending to whoever reviews the drafts in Gmail

Done when Your team knows today's adherence drafts are ready to review.

Questions, answered

Will it ever send a health related email to a patient on its own?

No. Every check-in is drafted and left unsent in your pharmacist's Gmail drafts. A licensed pharmacist reviews and sends it, WebRun never emails a patient about their medication without that review.

How does it decide what to write?

It reads that patient's own delivery outcome in adherent360, on time, delayed, or refused, and drafts a short, plain language question around it, so the draft always matches what actually happened for that patient.

What if a patient was readmitted before the check-in went out?

It skips them. Anyone flagged as readmitted or already contacted in adherent360 is excluded from that day's drafts automatically.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
