Automated Kaspersky Licence Expiry Alerts

Every Monday, WebRun signs into My Kaspersky, reads each licence's expiry date and how many device slots are used, checks which connected devices have stopped reporting a recent status, opens a Trello card for anything expiring within thirty days or gone quiet, and queues a Twilio SMS for you to approve when a device is genuinely unprotected.

In short

How do I track Kaspersky licence expiry and unprotected devices?

WebRun signs into My Kaspersky every Monday, reads each licence's expiry date and every connected device's reporting status, and opens a Trello card for anything expiring within thirty days or gone quiet. When protection has actually lapsed, it queues a Twilio SMS for you to approve.

  • Licences get renewed before they expire, not after a lapse
  • Devices that stopped reporting are caught within a week
  • Every SMS alert is approved by a person before it sends

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens my.kaspersky.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Kaspersky - read licence and device status
    kaspersky.com
WebRun in Kaspersky: read licence and device status
WebRun opens Kaspersky to read licence and device status.
    • Sign into My Kaspersky and open your licences
    • Capture each licence's product, expiry date, and how many device slots are in use
    • Open the devices list and note any device with no recent status or a protection issue
    • Flag licences expiring within 30 days and devices quiet for more than 7 days
    • Only read. Never renew, buy, or remove a licence or device

Done when Every licence has an expiry date and every device has a reporting status.

  3. 2
Trello - open a card per device to fix
    trello.com
WebRun in Trello: open a card per device to fix
WebRun opens Trello to open a card per device to fix.
    • Open your IT board in Trello
    • Create a card for each licence expiring within 30 days, with the expiry date as the due date
    • Create a card for each device that has stopped reporting, naming the device and days quiet
    • Update rather than duplicate a card that already exists
    • Archive cards whose licence has been renewed or whose device is reporting again

Done when Every expiring licence and quiet device has one current Trello card.

  4. 3
Twilio - queue an SMS when protection lapses
    twilio.com
WebRun in Twilio: queue an SMS when protection lapses
WebRun opens Twilio to queue an SMS when protection lapses.
    • Compose a short SMS naming the device or licence whose protection has actually lapsed
    • Keep it to the device name and the date, with no account or security detail
    • Queue the message in Twilio as pending your approval
    • Send nothing until you approve, and skip the SMS entirely when nothing has lapsed

Done when An SMS awaits your approval for every lapse, or none is queued when all is well.

Questions, answered

Will it renew or buy a licence?

No. WebRun only reads licence expiry dates and device status in My Kaspersky. It never renews, purchases, cancels, or removes anything. Renewal stays your decision.

Does it text me automatically?

No. The SMS is queued in Twilio as pending and goes out only after you approve it, and it is only prepared when protection has actually lapsed rather than for every expiring licence.

How does it spot a device that stopped reporting?

It reads the last status shown for each connected device. Anything with no recent report for more than seven days is flagged as quiet and gets its own Trello card.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
