Automated JobStreet Job Ad Performance Checks

Every Monday, WebRun signs into JobStreet, reads views and applications on each live ad, works out the conversion rate per ad, compares it with your other ads in the same role and location, sends the weak performers to WhatsApp, and creates a Trello card so each one gets rewritten.

In short

How do I tell which job ad is underperforming and needs a rewrite?

WebRun grades your JobStreet ads every Monday. It reads views and applications on each live listing, works out conversion per ad, compares it against your similar roles, sends the underperformers to WhatsApp, and queues each one on a Trello board for a recruiter to rewrite.

  • You learn which ad is the problem, not just that a role is quiet
  • Low conversion is separated from low visibility every week
  • Rewrites are queued instead of discussed and forgotten

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.jobstreet.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
JobStreet - compare views against applications
    jobstreet.com
WebRun in JobStreet: compare views against applications
WebRun opens JobStreet to compare views against applications.
    • Sign into JobStreet and open your live job ads
    • Read the view count and the application count on each ad
    • Work out applications per hundred views for every ad
    • Compare each ad against your others with a similar job title and location
    • Note ads with plenty of views and almost no applications, and ads with barely any views at all

Done when Every live ad has a conversion figure and a comparison against similar ads.

  3. 2
WhatsApp - send the underperforming ads
    whatsapp.com
WebRun in WhatsApp: send the underperforming ads
WebRun opens WhatsApp to send the underperforming ads.
    • Send the recruiting group this week's underperforming ads
    • Show the job title, views, applications and the conversion rate for each
    • Separate low conversion from low visibility, because the fix is different
    • Confirm plainly when every ad is converting normally

Done when The team knows which ads are the problem this week.

  4. 3
Trello - queue each ad for a rewrite
    trello.com
WebRun in Trello: queue each ad for a rewrite
WebRun opens Trello to queue each ad for a rewrite.
    • Open the recruiting board in Trello
    • Create one card per underperforming ad with its numbers and its likely issue
    • Suggest what to look at: the title wording, the salary shown, or the requirements list
    • Leave the card in the To rewrite list. WebRun never edits or reposts a live ad

Done when Each weak ad has a card ready for a recruiter to rewrite.

Questions, answered

Will it edit or repost my job ads?

No. WebRun reads the numbers and queues a Trello card. Rewriting the ad, changing the salary shown, and reposting are all done by a recruiter, so nothing published changes on its own.

Does it contact applicants?

No. This run only reads ad performance figures. It never opens an application, messages a candidate, or replies to anyone who applied through your listings.

How does it decide an ad is underperforming?

It compares applications per hundred views against your own ads for similar titles and locations, so a role that is naturally quiet is not judged against a busy one.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
