Automated Ionic Appflow Build Success Scorecard

Every Monday, WebRun opens Ionic Appflow, reviews the past week's native builds for iOS and Android, calculates the success rate per platform, posts a Slack scorecard, and sends a Telegram alert if either platform's success rate falls below your target, so build reliability gets tracked instead of just noticed when it is bad.

In short

How do I track my Ionic Appflow build success rate over time?

WebRun reviews Ionic Appflow's native builds every Monday, calculating the week's success rate separately for iOS and Android, and posts a Slack scorecard against the prior week. If either platform's rate falls below your target, it also sends a Telegram alert with the top failure reason, so a slipping success rate gets caught and escalated, not just noticed later.

  • Build success rate is tracked every week instead of only noticed when it is bad
  • A slipping platform gets escalated to Telegram automatically
  • Common failure reasons are visible without digging through build logs

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

    • Open Ionic Appflow and review native builds from the past week
    • Calculate the success rate separately for iOS and Android
    • Note the most common failure reason for each platform

Done when This week's build success rate is calculated per platform with the top failure reason.

Slack - post the build scorecard
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: post the build scorecard

    telegram.org

Questions, answered

Will WebRun rerun failed builds or fix the code?

No. It only reports the success rate and the common failure reasons. Fixing the underlying issue and rerunning builds stays with the mobile team.

What counts as the success rate target?

Whatever threshold your team sets. The default framing is that a rate below your target triggers the Telegram escalation, above it stays a routine Slack scorecard.

Does it separate iOS and Android?

Yes, since the two platforms often have different failure patterns, the scorecard and alert are calculated and reported separately for each.
