Automated Interactive Brokers Weekly P&L Export

Every Friday after the close, WebRun opens Interactive Brokers, reads the week's account activity and realized and unrealized P&L, logs each position to a Google Sheet, and drafts a plain-language summary email in Gmail that stays unsent until you decide to send it.

In short

How do I get a weekly P&L export from Interactive Brokers?

WebRun reads your Interactive Brokers account activity every Friday, capturing realized and unrealized P&L, margin usage, and buying power. It logs each position to a Google Sheet and drafts a plain-language summary email in Gmail, left unsent for your review, so you get a clear weekly picture of performance without pulling the activity statement yourself.

  • A running P&L history builds in Sheets without ever opening an activity statement
  • Realized and unrealized gains stay clearly separated every single week
  • A summary email is always ready to forward, never written from scratch

Built for active traders · retail investors · portfolio managers · independent financial advisors

Questions, answered

Can WebRun place or adjust orders in my Interactive Brokers account?

No. WebRun only reads account activity and P&L and reports on it. It never places, modifies, or cancels an order, and it never transfers funds or moves assets.

Does the P&L include both realized and unrealized gains?

Yes, and they are kept separate in the Sheet. Realized P&L is from positions closed that week, unrealized is the current mark on positions still open.

Why draft the email instead of sending it?

So nothing leaves your account unreviewed. The summary sits as a Gmail draft, ready for you to edit, forward to an accountant, or send when you are ready.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
