Automated GoodData Metric Threshold Alerts
Every hour, WebRun opens GoodData, reads the current value of each metric you are tracking against its threshold, posts an alert to Microsoft Teams the moment one breaches, and books a short review slot on Google Calendar so the metric gets a proper look instead of sitting unread in a dashboard.
How do I get alerted when a GoodData metric crosses its threshold?
WebRun checks your GoodData dashboards every hour against the thresholds you set. The moment a metric crosses its line, it posts an alert to Microsoft Teams naming the metric, its value, and the size of the breach, then books a short review slot on Google Calendar so the right people look at it together instead of it going unnoticed.
- Metric breaches get a Teams alert within the hour instead of being found days later
- Every breach comes with a booked review slot so it gets discussed, not ignored
- Dashboards stay untouched since WebRun only reads values, never edits models

Questions, answered
How does WebRun know what counts as a breach?
It uses the thresholds you set for each metric. Nothing is flagged until a value actually crosses the line you defined.
Will it keep alerting about the same breach?
No. It alerts once when a metric first crosses the threshold, then stays quiet on that metric until it either recovers or crosses again after recovering.
Does it change anything in our GoodData workspace?
No. It only reads metric values. Dashboards, models, and data sources are never edited.
