Automated Vero Workflow Error Handoff

Every hour, WebRun opens Vero, checks event-triggered workflows for a failed or errored send, hands off the workflow name and error details to the engineer on Microsoft Teams, and logs a Trello card so the fix gets tracked through to done.

In short

How do I catch a broken Vero workflow before customers notice?

WebRun checks Vero every hour for event-triggered workflows that failed or errored, hands off the workflow name and error details to the engineer on Microsoft Teams, and tracks the fix on a Trello card. Broken workflows get caught and routed to a person within the hour, before customers notice a missed message.

  • A broken workflow gets to an engineer within the hour, not after customers complain
  • Every fix is tracked on a Trello card through to done
  • Normal hours stay quiet, with no noise when workflows are running clean

Questions, answered

Can it fix a broken workflow or resend the missed message?

No. WebRun only reports the error and tracks the fix on a Trello card. Fixing the workflow and deciding whether to resend anything is left to the engineer.

Will I get a Teams message every hour?

No. A message only posts when a workflow actually failed or errored in the last hour. A clean hour produces no message at all.

How does it know a workflow failed?

It reads the send status Vero already records for each triggered workflow, rather than guessing from customer complaints or missing data.
