Automated Art Gallery Artist Sales Statements

At the end of each month, WebRun opens Artlogic, pulls all sales transactions for each represented artist, compiles the gross sale, gallery commission, and net artist payment into a draft statement, saves it as a Gmail draft, and notifies your team in Slack to review and send each one.

In short

How do I automatically generate artist sales statements from my gallery CRM?

At the end of each month, WebRun pulls completed sales from Artlogic, groups them by artist, and calculates the gross sale price, gallery commission, and net payment for each work sold. It drafts a clear, itemised statement in Gmail for every artist and alerts your team in Slack to review the figures before sending.

  • Artist statements are ready for review within hours of month end, not days
  • No calculation errors from manual spreadsheet work
  • Artists receive accurate, timely statements that reflect the gallery's professionalism

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it send statements to artists automatically?

No. Every statement is drafted in Gmail and held for review. A team member checks the figures and approves each statement before it is sent to the artist.

How does it calculate the net artist payment?

It reads the gross sale price and the gallery commission rate from each Artlogic transaction record and calculates the net from those figures. The draft shows all three clearly so your team can verify the maths.

What if an artist had no sales that month?

Artists with no completed sales in the period are skipped. The Slack summary notes only artists with statements ready, so there are no blank or zero-amount drafts to review.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
