Automated Aircraft Utilization Report

Every evening, WebRun opens Flight Schedule Pro, reads each aircraft's Hobbs time for the day, calculates how many hours each aircraft flew, updates the utilization log in Google Sheets, and posts a brief digest to Slack so the chief flight instructor can see which aircraft are carrying the load and which are sitting idle.

Questions, answered

How does WebRun calculate the Hobbs hours for each aircraft?

WebRun reads the Hobbs start and end times from each completed reservation in Flight Schedule Pro for the day and sums them per aircraft. The figures come directly from the scheduling system, not from estimates.

Can it track revenue per aircraft alongside the hours?

If your Flight Schedule Pro account records the billed rate per reservation, WebRun can calculate estimated daily revenue per aircraft and include it in the Google Sheets log. This is configurable during setup.

What counts as an underutilized aircraft?

The threshold is configurable. By default, WebRun flags any aircraft that flew fewer than two hours on a full operating day. Adjust the threshold during setup to match your fleet size and expected daily demand.
