In short

How do I track quality holds on extrusion lots until they are resolved?

WebRun keeps every quality hold visible instead of buried in a single lot record. Every hour it opens CyFrame, finds any lot or order newly placed on hold, logs the profile, reason code, and affected quantity to a Google Sheet, and closes out the entry with the disposition once the hold clears, so nothing sits forgotten.

  • Every open quality hold is visible in one place, not buried in a single record
  • Affected quantity and reason are logged the hour a hold is placed
  • Nothing sits on hold forgotten since each entry stays open until dispositioned

Built for plastics profile extruders · quality assurance teams · plant managers · production supervisors

Questions, answered

Does it release the hold or decide to scrap the lot?

No. WebRun only reads and logs the hold status CyFrame already has. It never releases a hold, ships a held lot, or decides to scrap it. Your quality team makes every disposition call.

Will a held lot get shipped or invoiced by mistake?

WebRun does not touch shipping or invoicing at all. It only maintains the hold register, so it cannot ship or bill a held lot. Keeping held lots out of shipping still depends on your own process controls in CyFrame.

How quickly does a new hold show up in the register?

Within the hour, since that is how often WebRun checks. You can run it more often if your quality team needs a faster view of new holds.
