CyFrame Automated Footage Yield Reports

Every night, WebRun opens CyFrame, works out the linear footage produced per pound of resin and per run hour for each line's completed jobs, compares it against the job's target yield, and drafts a cost-per-foot memo in QuickBooks so job costing reflects the day's actual output.

In short

How do I track footage yield and cost per foot for extrusion runs?

WebRun turns finished runs into a real cost picture. Each night it opens CyFrame, works out linear footage produced per pound of resin and per run hour for every completed job, flags any job that ran below its target yield, and drafts a cost-per-foot memo in QuickBooks, left unposted for your controller to review.

  • Cost per foot is ready for job costing every morning, not at month end
  • Runs below target yield are flagged the night they happen
  • Resin cost impact is visible before the job is even invoiced

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens cyframe.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

WebRun in CyFrame: work out footage yield per job

Done when Every completed job has its footage yield calculated and compared to target.

  3. 2
QuickBooks - draft the cost-per-foot memo
    • Draft a memo for the day with each job's actual cost per foot based on resin used and run time
    • Flag jobs that ran below their target yield so the cost impact is visible
    • Save it as an unposted draft for your controller to fold into job costing. Never post it automatically

Done when A draft cost-per-foot memo is ready in QuickBooks, unposted, for every job completed today.

Questions, answered

Will it change job costs in QuickBooks on its own?

No. WebRun only drafts a memo with the day's cost-per-foot figures and leaves it unposted. Your controller reviews it and decides how, or whether, it feeds into job costing.

How is footage yield calculated?

It divides linear footage produced by the pounds of resin used and by run hours for each completed job in CyFrame, then compares that against the job's target yield so a shortfall is visible.

What counts as a job running below target?

Any completed job whose actual footage per pound or per hour falls under the target set for that profile in CyFrame. WebRun flags it in the memo rather than deciding what caused it.
