Automated EV Charging Station Incident Alerts
Every few minutes, WebRun checks your AMPECO network for charge points that have gone offline or are reporting a critical fault, cross-references the station against your escalation matrix in Google Sheets to find the right on-call contact, and sends an instant Telegram alert with the station name, location, fault code, and time offline so your team can respond before a session queue builds up.
How do I get instant alerts when an EV charging station goes offline or faults?
WebRun checks your AMPECO network every few minutes for charge points that have gone offline or hit a critical fault. When a new incident is detected, it looks up the assigned on-call contact in your escalation matrix and sends an instant Telegram alert with the station name, location, fault code, and downtime so your ops team can respond before a session queue builds up.
- On-call engineer receives a specific Telegram alert within minutes of a station going offline
- Duplicate alerts for the same open incident are suppressed automatically
- Recovery is confirmed with a follow-up Telegram message when the station comes back online

Questions, answered
Does it attempt to restart or fix the station automatically?
No. WebRun only detects the incident and alerts the right on-call contact. Any remote reset or intervention in AMPECO is performed manually by your ops team after receiving the alert.
How does it avoid sending a repeat alert for the same fault every few minutes?
It logs each incident in Google Sheets with a timestamp and station ID on the first alert. On subsequent runs, it checks whether that station is already logged as an open incident and skips it until the fault clears.
What happens when the station comes back online?
When AMPECO shows the station as Available again, WebRun sends a resolution Telegram message to the same on-call contact and updates the Google Sheets log with the recovery time.
Put this on autopilot.
