Point of Rental Automated Inspection Reminders
Every hour during business hours, WebRun opens Point of Rental, finds equipment checked in as returned but without a completed inspection, texts the on-duty inspector a reminder naming the asset and yard location, and posts your yard supervisor a Slack queue of everything still waiting so nothing goes back out to the next renter unchecked.
How do I make sure every returned rental asset gets inspected before it rents again?
WebRun checks Point of Rental every hour during the day for equipment checked in as returned but not yet inspected. It texts the on-duty inspector a reminder naming the asset and yard location, marking anything over 4 hours urgent, and keeps your yard supervisor's Slack queue current, so no asset goes back out to a new renter without a completed inspection.
- Un-inspected returns get a text reminder within the hour
- Anything waiting over 4 hours is automatically flagged urgent
- Supervisors see a live queue instead of asking the yard floor

Questions, answered
Does this text go to the renter?
No. The text goes only to your own on-duty inspector, reminding them a return is waiting. WebRun never contacts a renter or customer from this workflow.
How long does it wait before flagging a return as urgent?
Four hours. A return waiting under 4 hours is a normal reminder. Past 4 hours, the text and the Slack entry are both marked urgent.
What happens once the inspection is completed?
The next run reads the updated status in Point of Rental. Once an inspection is marked complete, that asset drops off the queue automatically.
