Questions, answered
Will it email guardians on its own?
No. WebRun only drafts the guardian notes and leaves them unsent in Gmail Drafts. You read each one, edit anything you like, and send only the notes you approve. Nothing reaches a parent without you.
How does it know what counts as missing?
It reads the Canvas gradebook and uses the submission status, flagging assignments that are an online submission type, past the due date, and not yet turned in, then notes how many days each is overdue.
Will the same family get nudged every day?
No. WebRun logs who was noted in the tracking sheet and skips students already flagged that week, so guardians get one timely note, not a daily repeat.
