Automated Denticon Office Variance Alerts

Every morning, WebRun opens Denticon, compares each office's month to date production against its goal and its trailing average, records the variance to a Google Sheet, and posts a Microsoft Teams alert naming only the offices that have fallen behind so leadership can intervene early.

In short

How do I get alerted when a dental office is falling behind its production goal?

WebRun opens Denticon every morning and projects each office's month to date production against its goal and its own trailing average. It logs the variance for every office to a Google Sheet, then posts a Microsoft Teams alert naming only the offices pacing behind, so leadership catches a slipping location within days instead of at month end.

  • A slipping office surfaces within days, not at the month end close
  • Leadership is alerted only when an office is actually at risk, cutting alert noise
  • Every office's daily variance is logged, so a slow decline is visible in the trend

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.denticon.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Denticon - compare production to goal

WebRun in Denticon: compare production to goal
WebRun opens Denticon to compare production to goal.
    • Open Denticon and pull month to date production and collections for every office
    • Read each office's monthly production goal from the group targets
    • Calculate the pace each office needs to hit its goal by month end
    • Compare current pace against goal and against the office's trailing 90 day average

Done when Every office has a month to date figure, its goal, and its projected pace.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - log each office's variance
    docs.google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log each office's variance
WebRun opens Google Sheets to log each office's variance.
    • Open the Office Variance Tracker sheet
    • Append a dated row per office with production, goal, projected pace, and variance percentage
    • Color code any office pacing more than 15 percent below goal as at risk
    • Keep the running history so a slow decline shows up across several days

Done when The variance sheet has today's row for every office with at risk offices marked.

  4. 3
Microsoft Teams - alert on offices that slip
    microsoft.com
WebRun in Microsoft Teams: alert on offices that slip
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to alert on offices that slip.
    • Post an alert to the operations channel in Microsoft Teams naming only the at risk offices
    • For each flagged office, show its variance, how many days it has been behind, and the pace needed to recover
    • Suppress the alert entirely on any day when no office is at risk to avoid noise
    • Link to the full Google Sheet for the rest of the group

Done when Leadership has a Teams alert listing only the offices slipping against goal, or no message when all are on track.

Questions, answered

Will it message the office managers directly?

No. The alert goes only to your internal operations channel in Microsoft Teams for leadership to review. Any conversation with an office manager about performance stays with your regional directors.

How does it decide an office is at risk?

It projects each office's month to date pace to month end and flags any location tracking more than 15 percent below its goal, factoring in the office's own trailing 90 day average so a slow office is not penalized twice.

What happens on a day when every office is on track?

It posts nothing. The Teams alert only fires when at least one office is at risk, so leadership sees a message only when there is something to act on, while the Sheet still records every office daily.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
