Streamtime Automated Project Profitability Report
On the 1st of every month, WebRun opens Streamtime, pulls the budgeted and actual hours logged against every project closed last month, checks what was actually invoiced and paid in QuickBooks, and writes a ranked profitability report to a Google Sheet showing which projects made money and which ran over.
How do I see which design projects are actually profitable?
On the 1st of every month, WebRun pulls budgeted versus actual hours for every project closed last month from Streamtime, checks what was actually invoiced and paid in QuickBooks, and writes a ranked profitability report to a Google Sheet. It never edits either system, it only reads the numbers so you can see which projects made money and which ran over budget.
- See which projects made money and which ran over, without opening two systems by hand
- Hours variance is calculated the same way every month
- Underpriced project types show up in the data before they repeat

Questions, answered
Does it change any numbers in QuickBooks or Streamtime?
No. WebRun only reads hours from Streamtime and invoice data from QuickBooks, it never edits an entry in either. The report is a read-only summary, all source numbers stay exactly as your team entered them.
How is profitability calculated?
It compares budgeted hours to actual hours logged in Streamtime to find the variance, then lines that up against what was actually invoiced and paid in QuickBooks for an estimated margin per project.
What if a project isn't fully paid yet at month end?
It still shows on the report with its invoiced and paid amounts as they stand, and any outstanding balance is noted so a partly paid project isn't mistaken for a loss.
