Never get caught off guard by a calving
Every morning, WebRun opens DairyComp 305, calculates each pregnant cow's expected calving date from her breeding date, adds anyone due in the next 14 days to a shared Google Calendar, and sends the overnight calving checker a Telegram list ranked by how close she is, so a maternity pen move or night check never gets missed.

How do I know which cows are due to calve soon?
WebRun calculates each pregnant cow's expected calving date in DairyComp 305 every morning, adds anyone due within 14 days to a shared Google Calendar with a maternity pen move reminder, and sends the overnight checker a ranked Telegram list, closest cow first. Cows that have already calved drop off the list automatically, so nothing gets missed overnight.
- A 14-day calving window is visible every morning instead of a manual gestation table lookup
- Maternity pen moves happen 3 days ahead instead of last minute
- Cows that already calved drop off the watch list with zero manual cleanup

Questions, answered
How accurate is the expected calving date?
It's calculated from the cow's confirmed breeding date using an average 280-day gestation, the same method your vet uses. Actual calving can still land a few days either side, which is why the list covers a 14-day window, not a single date.
Will WebRun move the cow to the maternity pen automatically?
No. It only adds a calendar reminder 3 days ahead of the expected date so your team makes the pen move. No physical action happens on its own.
What if a cow calves early?
As soon as staff log a calving event in DairyComp 305, she drops off the next morning's list automatically, so the watch list always reflects who's actually still due.
