No. This reconciles every open query into age buckets each day so the team can see the full aging picture and trend. A separate escalation workflow specifically alerts your physician advisor once a query is fully unanswered past its window.
What counts as the oldest bucket?
By default, any query open more than 48 hours, which is when most hospital query policies expect a response. That threshold can be adjusted in your run settings to match your own policy.
Does it alert on the same query every day once it's in the oldest bucket?
No. It only alerts the day a query newly crosses into the over 48 hour bucket, so the CDI channel doesn't get a repeat alert for a query that's been aging for a week.
