In short

How do I get warned before a BitMEX position gets close to liquidation?

WebRun checks every open BitMEX position every hour, reading the funding rate, mark price, and distance to liquidation for each contract. It posts a full risk summary to Slack every hour, sorted riskiest first, and pings Telegram the moment any position enters the danger margin you set, so risk never goes unnoticed overnight.

  • Liquidation risk is checked every single hour, day and night
  • Urgent Telegram pings arrive the same hour a position enters the danger margin
  • Funding rate is visible alongside risk instead of checked separately

Questions, answered

Will WebRun add margin or close a position for me?

No. WebRun only reads your positions and reports funding rate and liquidation distance. It never adds margin, closes a position, or places a new order on BitMEX, and it never moves funds. Managing the position stays entirely your call.

How is the danger margin defined?

You set how close to the liquidation price counts as dangerous when this is set up, and WebRun compares the live mark price against that margin every hour.

Does it track the funding rate too?

Yes. Every hourly summary includes the current funding rate for each contract, so you can see the cost of holding a position alongside its liquidation risk.
