Automated Bitdefender Device Coverage Audit
Every Monday, WebRun opens Bitdefender Central, walks every device on your account, notes the ones with an expired or expiring subscription, no recent scan or protection switched off, posts the coverage gap list to Slack, and sends you a short Telegram summary of what needs fixing first.
How do I find devices that lost Bitdefender protection?
WebRun audits your Bitdefender Central account every Monday, checking each device for an expired subscription, a stale scan or protection switched off. It posts the coverage gaps to Slack grouped by reason with the device owner named, then sends you a short Telegram summary of what to fix first this week.
- No device runs unprotected because a subscription quietly lapsed
- Paid seats sitting unused get spotted before you buy more
- Devices with overdue scans are named and owned every Monday

1
Bitdefender - audit every protected device
WebRun opens Bitdefender to audit every protected device. - Open Bitdefender Central and go to My Devices
- Capture every device with its name, owner, platform and protection status
- Flag devices whose subscription has expired or expires within 30 days
- Flag devices with no completed scan in the last 14 days or with protection turned off
- Read the account subscription page for seats used against seats owned
Done when Every device on the account has been checked and each coverage gap is recorded with a reason.
-
2
Slack - post the coverage gaps
WebRun opens Slack to post the coverage gaps. - Post the coverage gap list to your IT channel
- Group it by reason: expired subscription, stale scan, protection disabled, unused seat
- Put the device owner next to each row so it is clear who to chase
- Note how many seats are still unused so nobody buys a licence they already own
Done when This week's Bitdefender coverage gaps are in Slack, grouped by reason.

Telegram - ping you with the top fixes
WebRun opens Telegram to ping you with the top fixes. - Send you a short Telegram summary with the count of devices in each gap category
- Lead with anything expiring in the next 7 days
- Keep it internal. WebRun never messages a device owner directly and never renews a subscription on its own
Done when You have the top fixes on Telegram before the week starts.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it renew a subscription or buy seats for me?
No. WebRun only reads your Bitdefender Central account and reports what it found. Renewals, seat purchases and licence changes are left for you to do, because they charge a card.
Does it change any protection settings on my devices?
No. The run is read-only inside Bitdefender Central. It records which devices have protection disabled or scans overdue, then reports them. Turning protection back on stays a human decision.
What counts as a coverage gap?
Four things: an expired or soon to expire subscription, no completed scan in the last 14 days, protection switched off, and a paid seat with no device attached. Each row says which reason applies.
Put this on autopilot.
Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
