How to Automate EZLynx
EZLynx automates quoting and retention. The Rating Engine returns real-time carrier quotes from one set of client answers, and a patented retention workflow prioritises at-risk policies and drives automated renewal quoting. What happens on carrier portals after a policy is bound stays manual, and that is the layer an agent like WebRun covers.
EZLynx turns one set of client answers into a wall of quotes
Most independent agencies meet EZLynx as the comparative rater. A prospect calls about car insurance, somebody takes their details once, and the EZLynx Rating Engine puts real-time quotes from a row of carriers on a single screen, so the agent can say what each one costs before the call ends.
Around that rater sits the EZLynx Management System, which is the agency's actual system of record. It holds the client and the household, the vehicles and the property, every policy in force, the renewal dates, the documents, the note from the last conversation, the commission and the payments. Personal lines rating and commercial submissions are built into it rather than bolted on, and the same client data feeds a sales pipeline, marketing email, renewals and the accounting.
Agencies that start up on EZLynx tend to grow up on it. It is the thing every producer and every service rep has open all day.
The quote is the fast part of writing a policy
Quoting takes minutes. Everything either side of it takes a fortnight.
Before a policy can be bound, a signed application has to come back, along with a prior carrier declarations page, a licence number nobody typed correctly, a photo of the roof, an inspection the carrier insists on. Each one is chased by email, then by text, then by phone.
After it is bound, the servicing starts. A client's card was declined and the carrier has issued a cancellation notice with a ten-day window inside it. A mortgagee change has not been processed. A renewal came back with a rate increase, and the client will shop it the day the declarations page lands in their post, unless somebody gets there first.
The principal knows exactly where the leaks are. A lapse that one text message would have saved. A renewal nobody requoted. A cross-sell that never happened because the note lived in one person's head.
The rater reaches carriers at quote time and not after
EZLynx automates more of that than most agencies configure, and the retention side is genuinely good.
The Rating Engine returns real-time quotes from multiple carriers with the carrier questions prefilled from what is already on the client record, and it supports quoting by text message. A patented retention workflow prioritises the policies most at risk and drives automated renewal quoting, so a book gets requoted rather than remembered. Sales and marketing automation runs email campaigns straight off the client record and tracks a prospect through the pipeline to bound. Accounting covers policy-level commission calculation, and clients can pay through digital payments or the self-service portal.
The pattern under all of it is that a connection to a carrier is a quoting connection: live at the moment you are shopping, quiet afterwards.
So the things that decide whether a policy stays on the books sit outside. Whether the endorsement was issued. Whether the pending cancellation was reinstated after the client paid. What the adjuster wrote on the claim this week. Which of your carriers filed a rate change that lands on renewals in March. All of it is on the carrier's own agent site, behind a login the management system does not hold.
A renewal book that flags itself before the client shops it
An agency already knows which accounts are fragile. What it does not have is a daily read on them.
Pending cancellations, checked every morning across each carrier portal and turned into a list of people to ring today, ordered by how many days are left. The lapse that would have cost the account becomes a phone call before lunch.
Renewals sixty days out with next term's premium already read off the carrier site and set beside the current one, so any increase over a threshold you set is on somebody's desk before the client opens the envelope. Requoting a book of four hundred renewals is a different exercise once you know which forty moved.
The document chase runs the same way. Applications, declarations pages and inspection reports still outstanding, per client and per carrier, with a reminder drafted for each one that is late.
Then the quiet money. Endorsements submitted and never issued. Commission deposits that do not match the policies they were paid on. Claims where the status changed last week and nobody has told the insured.
The gathering happens before the agency opens
Every one of those is a person logging into a carrier site and reading a screen. There is no API waiting to be switched on, and the carriers are not about to build one.
WebRun is an AI agent that works a real Chrome browser, signed in as you. It opens each carrier portal the way a service rep does, reads the cancellation notices, the renewal premiums and the claim statuses, and puts what it found into EZLynx or onto the worklist your team starts from.
It runs on your schedule in your own private environment, and you can watch a run and stop it. Anything that reaches a client is drafted and waits, because a lapse warning sent to somebody who paid last Tuesday costs more than the call it saved.
The workflows below are already built, and each one names the sites it opens.
Questions people ask
Will it text or email our clients about a lapse without us?
No, not by default. The list of clients sitting inside a cancellation window is assembled unattended, and every message to a client is drafted and left for a person. A lapse warning sent to somebody who has already paid does real damage to a renewal.
Can it work carriers we cannot rate through EZLynx?
Yes. It opens whichever agent portal the carrier gives you and reads the screen, so a carrier that is not on the rater and offers no feed at all is handled exactly like one that is. The login you already use is the only requirement.
Is our client data going anywhere we cannot see?
No. It runs in your own private environment, signed in as one of your own EZLynx users, and a workflow can be restricted to an explicit list of carrier domains. You can watch a run in progress and stop it part way through.

Each one names the apps it touches and the exact steps it takes. Open one to read what it will do, then turn it on.
Want one of these running on your own EZLynx?
Show WebRun the process once and it will run it on schedule, in your own private browser environment.
