Automated TaxDome Document Chasing
Every morning, WebRun opens TaxDome, finds client requests with documents still outstanding, drafts a polite follow-up to each client in Gmail, leaves every draft unsent for a preparer, and posts the team a Slack list of who is still holding up the work.
How do I chase clients for missing documents automatically?
Every morning, WebRun opens TaxDome, finds client requests with documents still outstanding, and lists the exact items each client owes. It drafts a polite follow-up to each one in Gmail, naming the missing documents, leaves every draft unsent for a preparer, and posts the team a Slack list sorted by days waiting.
- Stuck client documents surface every morning, not at the filing deadline
- Each follow-up is drafted and waiting, so a preparer just reviews and sends
- No request sits ignored because the chase runs itself daily
Built for accounting firms · tax practices · CPA firms · bookkeepers

Questions, answered
Will it email clients without me?
No. WebRun only drafts each follow-up in Gmail and leaves it unsent. A preparer reads every message and clicks send, so nothing reaches a client without a person approving it first.
How does it know which documents are still missing?
It reads your TaxDome Client Requests each morning and lists only the items still marked outstanding for each client. Anything a client has already uploaded is dropped from the chase.
Will it pester clients who just uploaded?
No. WebRun checks the live request status in TaxDome each run and skips anyone who has uploaded, plus anyone already followed up in the last few days.
Put this on autopilot.
