In short

How do I collect missing W-9s from clients' vendors automatically?

Every Monday before 1099 season, WebRun opens Liscio, finds the vendors still missing a W-9, and notes the client and days outstanding for each. It drafts a request to each client to collect the form from their vendor, leaves every draft unsent for review, and posts the team a Slack list, so W-9s arrive before the 1099 deadline.

  • Missing vendor W-9s surface weekly, not in the 1099 filing rush
  • Each request is drafted and waiting, so the team just reviews and sends
  • W-9s arrive before the deadline because the chase runs every week

Questions, answered

Will it email clients without me?

No. WebRun only drafts each W-9 collection request in Gmail and leaves it unsent. Someone on the team reviews every message and clicks send, so nothing reaches a client without a person approving it first.

How does it know which W-9s are still missing?

It reads your Liscio W-9 collection requests each week and lists only the vendors still marked outstanding. Any form that has already arrived is dropped from the chase automatically.

Will it chase a client whose vendor just sent the W-9?

No. WebRun checks the live request status in Liscio each run and skips any vendor whose W-9 has arrived, plus anyone already chased in the last week.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
