In short

How do I keep track of which barrels are due for topping each week?

WebRun keeps your barrel topping schedule on track automatically. Every Monday, it opens InnoVint, checks the last topping date logged against every barrel lot, builds a checklist of what is due grouped by cellar row in Google Sheets, and sends it to your cellar crew's Telegram channel, so no barrel goes past its topping interval and loses headspace.

  • No barrel lot goes past its topping interval unnoticed
  • The cellar crew works the checklist in one pass, sorted by row
  • Overdue lots surface at the top of the list every Monday

Questions, answered

How does it decide a barrel is due for topping?

It compares each barrel lot's last topping date in InnoVint against the topping interval you set for that wine type, so red, white, and reserve programs can each run on their own schedule.

Does it mark barrels as topped on its own?

No. It only builds the checklist. A crew member still tops each barrel and logs it in InnoVint, which is what clears that barrel off next week's list.

Can it group the list by cellar location?

Yes. The checklist is sorted by cellar row so the crew can work through it in one physical pass instead of hunting for barrels across the building.
