Automated Travel Commission Reconciliation

Every Monday, WebRun opens Travefy, reads the commission expected on booked and traveled trips, compares it against what has been marked received, logs every gap in Google Sheets with the supplier and amount, and posts your team a Slack list of unpaid or short-paid commissions to chase so none slips through unbilled.

In short

How do I reconcile travel commissions expected versus received automatically?

Every Monday, WebRun opens Travefy and compares the commission expected on booked and traveled trips against what has been marked received. It logs every gap in Google Sheets with the supplier and amount, and posts your team a Slack list of unpaid or short-paid commissions to chase, largest and oldest first, so none slips through unbilled.

  • Unpaid commissions surface every week, not at year-end
  • Every expected-versus-received gap is logged with its amount and age
  • No commission goes unclaimed because nobody reconciled the supplier statement

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens app.travefy.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Travefy - read expected vs received
    travefy.com
WebRun in Travefy: read expected vs received
WebRun opens Travefy to compare commission expected against received per trip.
    • Open Travefy and open the commission tracker for trips that have traveled or are due to pay
    • For each trip read the commission expected and the amount marked received
    • Capture the supplier, trip, expected amount, received amount, and any difference

Done when Every trip's expected and received commission has been read and compared.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - log the gaps
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log the gaps
WebRun logs each expected-versus-received gap and ranks the largest first.
    • Open the commission reconciliation sheet and add or update a row per trip with expected, received, and the gap
    • Flag any trip where commission is unpaid past its due date or paid short
    • Sort so the largest and oldest gaps sit at the top for you to chase first

Done when Every commission gap is logged in the sheet with its amount and age.

  4. 3
Slack - report what to chase
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: report what to chase
WebRun posts the week's unpaid commissions with the largest gaps first.
    • Post the team a short list of unpaid or short-paid commissions to chase this week
    • Lead with the largest and most overdue gaps so the biggest money stands out
    • Total the outstanding commission so the team sees the full amount at stake

Done when The team has this week's commission chase list in Slack.

Questions, answered

Will it contact suppliers about money on its own?

No. WebRun only reconciles the numbers and surfaces the gaps. It logs each shortfall in Sheets and posts a chase list in Slack, but contacting a supplier to claim commission always stays a step a person takes.

How does it know a commission is missing?

It compares the commission expected on each trip in Travefy against the amount marked received, then flags any trip that is unpaid past its due date or paid short of what was expected.

What if a commission was paid in a different period?

It reads the live received amounts in Travefy each week, so a commission you have since marked received is reconciled and drops off the chase list automatically.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
