In short

How do I track weekly contractor hours and spend?

WebRun signs in to Toptal every Monday and reads last week's logged hours and invoiced amounts for each active engagement. It appends one dated row per engagement to your Google Sheet and sends the totals plus the biggest movers to Telegram, so contractor spend is tracked without anyone copying numbers by hand.

  • Contractor spend is visible every Monday instead of at invoice time
  • Sharp swings in hours are called out against each engagement's own pattern
  • The sheet builds a full history nobody has to maintain

Questions, answered

Will it approve timesheets or pay an invoice?

No. WebRun only reads your Toptal engagements and records the numbers. It never approves hours, pays an invoice, ends an engagement, or messages the talent. Approvals stay with you.

Does it overwrite last week's numbers?

No. Each run appends new dated rows and leaves earlier weeks untouched, so the sheet becomes a complete history you can chart or hand to finance.

What if an engagement logged no hours?

It still gets a row with zero hours, which is usually the useful signal. Engagements that go quiet show up as a flat line rather than silently disappearing from the report.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
