Automated Toast 86 and Low Stock Alerts
Throughout service, WebRun checks Toast's 86 report and inventory counts, identifies any item running low before service ends, and sends an immediate Telegram alert to the kitchen manager so they can prep more or pull the item from the menu.
How do I get automatic 86 alerts from Toast POS during service?
WebRun checks Toast's 86 report and inventory counts every 15 minutes during service hours, identifies any item at risk of running out before the end of service, and sends an immediate Telegram alert to the kitchen manager. Low-stock items are caught while there is still time to prep more or pull the item from the floor.
- Kitchen is alerted to low-stock items while there is still time to act
- Guests never order something that cannot be made
- Alerts are suppressed outside service hours to avoid overnight noise
Built for restaurant kitchen managers · executive chefs · restaurant owners · front-of-house managers

Questions, answered
Will it automatically remove an item from the menu in Toast?
No. WebRun only sends the alert. Marking an item as 86d in Toast stays with the kitchen manager or front-of-house staff.
Can I limit alerts to service hours only so I am not pinged overnight?
Yes. You set the start and end times for the monitoring window during setup, and WebRun only runs checks within those hours.
Does it alert me again if the same item is still low on the next check?
It sends a fresh alert only if the status has worsened since the last check, to keep your Telegram from flooding with repeated messages for the same item.
