Questions, answered
Will it contact the client or the IRS if a payment is late?
No. The digest is internal only. WebRun flags the at-risk cases for your team to act on. Any client or IRS communication is handled by your staff.
How does it know if a payment was actually made?
It reads the balance and payment records as they stand in Canopy at the time of the run. If your team has updated the case record with a payment confirmation, that will be reflected.
What happens when an installment agreement is completed or terminated?
Canopy tracks the resolution status per case. Cases no longer marked as active installment agreements are excluded from the digest automatically on the next run.
