Automated Tax Resolution Delinquency Risk Worklist
Every Monday, WebRun opens Canopy and scans all active cases for risk signals: missed payments, unanswered IRS requests, lapsing currently-non-collectible status, or stalled OIC reviews. It ranks clients by escalation risk and posts a prioritized worklist to Slack. For the highest-risk cases, it drafts an SMS alert via Twilio for manager review before sending.
How do I automatically identify which tax resolution clients are at risk of IRS collection action?
Every Monday, WebRun scans all active cases in Canopy for collection escalation signals: missed payments, unanswered IRS requests, expiring CNC status, and stalled OICs. It ranks clients by risk and posts a prioritized worklist to Slack, while holding draft Twilio SMS alerts for critical cases until a manager approves each one.
- Critical collection risks surfaced before the IRS acts
- Every case manager knows which clients need attention before Monday meetings
- Client SMS alerts drafted and held for approval so nothing goes out unreviewed

Questions, answered
Will it send text messages to clients automatically?
No. Any SMS alert for a critical-risk client is saved as a Twilio draft and held for manager review. No message is sent to a client until a human approves it.
How is the risk score calculated?
WebRun looks at specific signals in Canopy: missed payments, unanswered IRS requests, CNC status expiry dates, and OIC inactivity. Cases with multiple signals or imminent deadlines score higher.
What if my team has already actioned a flagged case?
The worklist reads live case data from Canopy at run time. If your team updates the case record before Monday's run, the risk signal will no longer appear in that week's list.
