Automated Swell Order and Backorder Digests

Every morning, WebRun opens your Swell storefront admin, reads every order placed since the last check, posts a summary of today's order count and revenue to Microsoft Teams, and creates a Trello card for any order containing a backordered item so it gets tracked until it can ship.

In short

How do I track backordered items in new Swell orders?

WebRun reads your Swell storefront admin every morning for new orders, posts a summary of today's count and revenue to Microsoft Teams, and creates a Trello card for any order with a backordered item. Backorders stay visible and tracked until they ship, instead of getting lost in a general order list.

  • Backordered orders stay visible until they actually ship
  • Teams gets a clean daily summary without opening the admin
  • Nothing backordered gets forgotten in a general order list

Questions, answered

Does it ship or cancel a backordered item?

No. WebRun only flags orders with a backordered item and tracks them in Trello. Shipping or canceling stays a manual decision your team makes.

How does it know an item is backordered?

It checks each order's items against current stock in Swell and flags anything showing zero available quantity.

What happens once the backordered item restocks?

Move the card to Ready to Ship in Trello. It won't be flagged again once the order actually ships.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
