How do I automatically convert new Google Drive documents to audio?

WebRun checks your shared Google Drive folder every morning for documents added overnight, converts each one to audio in Speechify, and saves the audio file back alongside the original. It then texts you through Twilio once the batch is ready, so long documents turn into something you can listen to on your commute instead of reading at a desk.

  • New documents are ready to listen to before the workday starts
  • One text tells you the audio is ready instead of checking Drive
  • Nothing added overnight sits unread in text form all day

Questions, answered

Does it delete or replace the original document?

No. WebRun saves the audio file alongside the original. Nothing original is changed or removed from Drive.

What if Speechify can't convert a file?

It skips that file and notes it in the text update, rather than sending you a broken or empty audio file.

Can I limit which folder it watches?

Yes. Point it at any single shared Drive folder and it only converts documents added there.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
