Automated WebPT Speech Therapy Daily Schedule Digest

Every morning, WebRun opens WebPT, reads today's full speech therapy schedule, groups appointments by therapist, notes any open slots or authorization warnings, and posts a clean digest to Slack so every clinician and front desk staff member is briefed before the first patient arrives.

In short

How do I automatically send my speech therapy team a daily schedule briefing?

WebRun opens WebPT every morning, reads the full speech therapy schedule, and posts a therapist-grouped digest to Slack before the first session. Open slots and authorization warnings are flagged inline so your front desk and clinical team start the day fully briefed without logging into WebPT.

  • Every clinician starts the day briefed without logging into WebPT
  • Authorization warnings surface during the morning brief, not mid-session
  • Open slots are visible to front desk staff in time to fill them

Questions, answered

Does it include patient names in the Slack message?

No. The digest uses patient initials and appointment types only. Full patient names and PHI are not included in the Slack post to protect patient privacy.

What counts as an authorization warning?

Any appointment where the patient's active authorization has fewer than 3 visits remaining triggers a flag in the digest, giving the front desk time to request a renewal before the session.

Can it cover multiple locations or clinic rooms?

Yes. WebRun reads all rooms and locations within your WebPT account and includes them in the digest. You can filter the Slack post to show only one location if needed.
