Tag Your VIP Repeat Customers
Every Monday, WebRun opens Shopify Customers, finds everyone who meets your VIP criteria (e.g. 3+ orders or lifetime spend over $500), applies the 'VIP' tag to newly qualifying customers, syncs the segment to Klaviyo, and sends you a Slack note with who was promoted this week.
How can I automatically identify and tag VIP repeat customers in Shopify and sync them to Klaviyo?
Every Monday WebRun opens Shopify Customers, finds everyone who meets your VIP criteria - such as three or more orders or lifetime spend over a set threshold - applies the VIP tag to newly qualifying customers, syncs the segment to Klaviyo, and sends you a Slack note with who was promoted this week.
- VIP customers identified and tagged every week without manual review
- Klaviyo segment stays current so the right campaigns reach the right people
- Weekly Slack report shows exactly who earned VIP status this week

Questions, answered
What are the default VIP criteria?
Three or more orders, or a lifetime spend over $500. You can set any thresholds you like - order count, spend, recency, or a combination - in the plan.
Will it email VIP customers to tell them they've been upgraded?
No - it only applies the Shopify tag and syncs the Klaviyo segment. Any 'Welcome to VIP' email is a separate Klaviyo flow you control, not something WebRun sends automatically.
Can it handle multiple tiers, like Silver and Gold?
Yes - define separate threshold rules for each tier and WebRun will apply the correct tag based on where each customer falls.
