In short

How can I automatically build a weekly ops dashboard from my project tools?

WebRun builds your weekly ops dashboard every Monday so leadership has the full picture before the week begins. It reads your Airtable operations base for project statuses, open tasks, and capacity data, compiles the metrics into a Google Sheets dashboard, and posts the link to your leadership Slack channel with a headline summary.

  • Weekly ops dashboard delivered to Slack before Monday morning meetings
  • Project statuses, open tasks, and capacity compiled in one view
  • No manual data pulling or spreadsheet updating needed

Built for operations leaders · COOs · department heads · project management offices

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens airtable.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Airtable - pull project statuses & ops metrics
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: pull project statuses & ops metrics
WebRun opens Airtable to pull project statuses & ops metrics.
    • Open the Operations base in Airtable and pull records from three views: Active Projects, Team Capacity, and Open Tickets
    • Extract the key metrics: projects by status, tasks due this week, team utilisation percentages, and unresolved issues by priority
    • Calculate any derived metrics: percentage of projects on track, average days to resolve a ticket

Done when All ops metrics for the week are extracted and ready for the dashboard.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - compile & update the weekly dashboard
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: compile & update the weekly dashboard
WebRun opens Google Sheets to compile & update the weekly dashboard.
    • Open the Weekly Ops Dashboard spreadsheet
    • Update each metric tab with this week's values: Projects tab, Capacity tab, and Tickets tab
    • Update the Summary sheet with the headline numbers and flag any metric that moved more than 15% week-over-week

Done when The Google Sheets dashboard reflects this week's ops data with all metrics and trends updated.

  4. 3
Slack - share the dashboard with leadership
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: share the dashboard with leadership
WebRun opens Slack to share the dashboard with leadership.
    • Post a Monday morning message to #leadership with the headline metrics: projects on track, team capacity, open tickets
    • Include a direct link to the Google Sheets dashboard for the full picture
    • Flag any metrics in the red so leadership knows what needs attention

Done when Leadership has the weekly ops picture in Slack and a link to the full dashboard.

Questions, answered

Can I add my own metrics to the dashboard?

Yes - tell WebRun which Airtable fields or views to pull from and which Sheet tab to update, and it will include them in every Monday run.

What if Airtable data is incomplete for some projects?

WebRun flags incomplete records in the dashboard with a 'Data missing' note rather than showing a zero, so you know to investigate rather than assume everything is healthy.

Does it overwrite the previous week's dashboard?

It updates the current values tab in place but preserves a weekly history tab where each Monday's snapshot is appended - so you always have a trend line.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
