In short

How do I automatically flag order exceptions in fresh produce distribution?

WebRun scans Produce Pro every two hours for order exceptions including short ships, grade substitutions, and weight variances outside tolerance. It logs every flagged line to a Google Sheet and posts a grouped summary to your operations Slack channel, so your team can act on exceptions before customers notice a problem.

  • Exceptions surface within 2 hours of occurring, not at end of day
  • Every short ship and grade sub is logged for PACA compliance review
  • Ops team resolves issues before the customer calls to complain

Built for produce operations managers · fresh produce distributors · quality control teams · customer service supervisors

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens producepro.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1

    • Flag any grade substitution where a lower grade was shipped than ordered
    • Flag any catch-weight line where the variance exceeds the customer's tolerance
    • Capture order number, customer, item, exception type, and variance amount for each flag

Done when All order exceptions in the period are captured with their details.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it contact the customer about the exception automatically?

No. WebRun flags exceptions internally to your ops team in Slack. Any customer communication is drafted separately and reviewed by a human before sending.

Can I set different thresholds for different customers?

Yes. During setup you can configure per-customer tolerance levels for weight variance and short-ship percentage, and WebRun applies them when scanning each order.

How do resolved exceptions get removed from the list?

Your ops team marks rows as resolved in the Google Sheet. WebRun skips any exception already marked resolved in future runs, so the Slack channel stays free of noise.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
