Automated GOLD Portfolio Photo Uploads
Every night, WebRun opens the classroom's shared Google Drive folder, matches that day's photos to the right child using the folder and file names teachers already use, stages each one as a pending entry in the child's Teaching Strategies GOLD portfolio, and messages the lead teacher on Telegram once the batch is ready to review.
How do I get daily classroom photos into each child's portfolio without extra work for teachers?
WebRun reviews each classroom's shared Google Drive folder every night, matches that day's photos to the right child by the file name teachers already use, and stages each as a pending entry in that child's Teaching Strategies GOLD portfolio, then messages the lead teacher on Telegram once the batch is ready, so nothing publishes until a teacher reviews it.
- Portfolios stay current with same day photos instead of a weekend catch up
- Teachers spend seconds reviewing a staged batch instead of tagging photos one by one
- Nothing reaches a family's view until a teacher has reviewed and published it

Questions, answered
Do photos reach families before a teacher sees them?
No. WebRun only stages each photo as a pending entry in GOLD. A teacher has to review and publish it before it becomes visible in a family's portfolio view.
How does it know which child is in each photo?
It matches the file name or subfolder teachers already use when they upload from their classroom device, so no extra tagging step is added to a teacher's day.
What happens to a photo it can't match to a child?
It leaves it in the Drive folder untouched and skips it. Nothing gets stored against the wrong child's record.
