Automated Poster Cafe Sales Digest

Every night after close, WebRun opens Poster, pulls the day's sales, covers, and average ticket, logs the totals to a running Google Sheet, and posts a short digest to Slack so you wake up already caught up.

In short

How do I get a daily sales digest from my Poster POS?

WebRun reviews your Poster sales every night after close, logging the day's revenue, covers, and average ticket to a running Google Sheet. It then posts a short Slack digest each morning, so you start the day already knowing yesterday's numbers instead of digging through reports.

  • Yesterday's sales are read before the first customer walks in
  • Every day's totals land in one running Sheet, no manual entry
  • Sales trends are visible week over week, not just day to day

Built for cafe owners · coffee shop managers · bar owners · hospitality operators

Questions, answered

Does this change anything in Poster or my books?

No. WebRun only reads your Poster sales data. It never edits orders, prices, or records. It just logs totals to a Sheet and posts a digest to Slack.

What if the last shift hasn't closed when it runs?

It reports the sales recorded in Poster up to the scheduled run time. A very late close shows up in the next day's digest instead.

Can I see more than just yesterday's numbers?

Yes. The running Google Sheet keeps every day's totals, so you can compare week over week or month over month, not just read the daily Slack digest.

Put this on autopilot.
