In short

How do I automatically recall diabetic patients for their annual foot exam?

Every Monday, WebRun scans ModMed for diabetic patients who have not had a foot exam in over 12 months, logs them in a Google Sheet, and drafts a personalized recall message in Klara for each one. Staff review every draft before any message is sent, helping the practice close care gaps while staying HIPAA-compliant.

  • Overdue diabetic patients are identified weekly with no manual chart review
  • Care gaps close faster as every at-risk patient gets a timely recall message
  • Staff save hours each week otherwise spent on manual recall outreach

Questions, answered

Will it send recall messages to patients without staff approval?

No. Every recall message is drafted in Klara and left unsent. A staff member must review each message before it reaches the patient, keeping protected health information under your control.

How does it identify which patients are diabetic?

It filters ModMed by standard ICD-10 diabetes diagnosis codes such as E10 and E11, matching the same patient list your practice already manages for chronic-disease care.

What if a patient has already scheduled a follow-up?

It checks for an existing upcoming appointment in ModMed before adding a patient to the list, so patients who are already booked are skipped and not messaged.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
