Automated Plumbing Emergency Callback Routing
When an emergency or after-hours service request is received, WebRun reads the job details from Housecall Pro, checks which technicians are available or on call, and immediately posts a prioritised callback alert to your on-call Slack channel with the job address, issue type, and suggested tech.
How do I automatically route emergency plumbing calls to on-call technicians?
When an emergency plumbing request arrives in Housecall Pro, WebRun reads the job details, checks which on-call technicians are available, and posts a prioritised callback alert to your on-call Slack channel within minutes. The alert includes the address, issue type, and top technician options so your dispatcher can act immediately.
- Emergency jobs get a dispatcher alert within minutes, not the next morning
- On-call dispatchers see the full job details and best available technicians in one Slack message
- No customer contacts or technician messages are sent without human approval

Questions, answered
Does it contact the technician or the customer directly?
No. WebRun posts an internal Slack alert to your on-call dispatcher only. The dispatcher decides who to call and makes that call themselves. Nothing is sent to the technician or the customer automatically.
What counts as an emergency job?
Any job tagged as emergency, urgent, or after-hours in Housecall Pro will trigger the alert. You can configure which job tags or categories count as emergency in WebRun settings.
How fast does the Slack alert appear?
The alert is posted to Slack within a few minutes of the emergency job appearing in Housecall Pro, giving your dispatcher enough time to reach the technician before the customer waits too long.
