Automated Plumbing Dispatch Digest
Every morning at 6:30 AM, WebRun opens Housecall Pro, reads all jobs scheduled for today, groups them by assigned crew and service zone, and posts a formatted dispatch digest to your Slack channel so dispatchers and techs start the day with a complete, organised job list.
How do I automate a daily plumbing dispatch digest for my team?
Every morning at 6:30 AM, WebRun opens Housecall Pro and reads all plumbing jobs scheduled for the day, groups them by assigned crew, and posts a structured dispatch digest to your team Slack channel. Unassigned jobs and schedule gaps are flagged at the top so your dispatcher can fix them before trucks roll.
- Every crew starts the day with a clear, organised job list in Slack
- Unassigned jobs and schedule gaps are flagged before trucks leave the yard
- Dispatchers spend the morning fixing problems, not building a list

Questions, answered
Does it message technicians or customers directly?
No. WebRun posts the dispatch digest to your internal Slack channel only. It does not send messages to technicians or customers.
What if a job was added to the schedule after the digest ran?
The digest is a snapshot of the schedule at 6:30 AM. Jobs added after that time will not appear until the next morning's run. Your dispatcher should handle same-day add-ons manually.
Can it flag drain jobs or emergency calls separately?
Yes. You can configure WebRun to highlight specific job types, such as drain cleaning, emergency calls, or repipe work, at the top of the digest so your dispatcher spots them instantly.
