Automated Pika Render Failure Alerts

Every hour, WebRun checks Pika for generation jobs that finished, saves every successful render into a shared Google Drive folder, and texts the creator on Twilio the moment a job fails so they can resubmit the prompt without waiting to notice.

In short

How do I get alerted when a Pika video generation fails?

WebRun checks Pika every hour for generation jobs that finished, saving every successful render into a shared Google Drive folder automatically. If a job fails, it texts the creator on Twilio with the prompt and error so they can resubmit right away, instead of noticing a missing video days later.

  • Failed jobs get caught within the hour instead of days later
  • Every successful render is backed up to Drive automatically
  • Creators get the exact prompt and error, not just a missing file

Questions, answered

Does it retry a failed generation automatically?

No. It texts the creator with the prompt and error so they can decide whether to resubmit. WebRun does not resubmit jobs on its own.

Does it text anyone besides my own team?

No. Twilio alerts only go to your own team's numbers on file. It never texts a customer or anyone outside your team.

What happens to renders that are still processing?

They are left alone and checked again on the next hourly run, so nothing gets marked failed before it is actually finished.
