In short

How can a pharmacy automatically track and manage uncollected prescriptions due for return to stock?

WebRun scans BestRx every morning for prescriptions that have sat in will-call past your hold threshold, logs each one to a Google Sheet worklist with patient name, medication, and days held, and posts a summary to Slack so technicians start the day knowing exactly what to return to stock.

  • Will-call bin stays clear with daily automated tracking instead of manual bin dives
  • Technicians start each shift with a prioritized return list, not a guessing game
  • Inventory accuracy improves as stale prescriptions are returned on schedule

Questions, answered

Does it automatically return prescriptions to stock in BestRx?

No. WebRun produces a worklist for your technicians to action. All actual inventory adjustments are made by staff in BestRx, keeping pharmacist oversight intact for every return-to-stock decision.

How do I set the hold-period threshold?

You configure the number of days in your WebRun workflow settings before the first run. The default is 10 days, but you can adjust it to match your pharmacy's policy without any code changes.

What about prescriptions patients have asked to hold longer?

Prescriptions flagged as held by patient request or marked as special-order in BestRx are excluded from the worklist automatically each run.
