Automated Pet Store Review Requests

Every morning, WebRun opens Square, identifies customers from the past 48 hours who have not yet been asked for a review, drafts a personalized review request for each, surfaces the batch in Slack for staff approval, and logs sent requests to Google Business so you can track outreach and response rates.

In short

How do I automatically ask pet store customers to leave a Google review?

Every morning, WebRun checks Square for recent customers eligible for a review request, drafts a personalized message for each, and surfaces the batch in Slack for staff to approve before anything is sent. Outreach is logged in Google Business so you can track who was asked and monitor your store's review growth over time.

  • Review requests reach customers while their visit is still fresh
  • No message goes to a customer without a staff member checking it first
  • Outreach history prevents the same customer from being asked twice

Questions, answered

Will it send review requests to customers without my approval?

No. Every draft is surfaced in Slack for a staff member to review first. Messages are sent only after someone on your team approves the batch, so no customer receives an automated message without human sign-off.

How does it avoid asking the same customer twice?

WebRun checks the outreach log in Google Business and the Square transaction history before each run, and skips any customer who has already been asked for a review within the past 90 days.

What does the review request message say?

It drafts a short, friendly message referencing the customer's recent purchase and including your Google Business review link. You can provide a preferred tone or template during setup and WebRun will follow it.
