In short

How do I catch recipe cost overruns in my restaurant?

Every Monday, WebRun opens Petpooja and compares each dish's theoretical recipe cost against the actual ingredient consumption for the week. It converts every gap into a rupee impact, logs it to Airtable, and sends a Telegram list of the worst overruns, so you catch over-portioning and waste before they quietly erode your margin.

  • Recipe overruns caught weekly with a rupee impact each
  • Over-portioning and waste surfaced before month-end
  • A running Airtable variance trend with no manual costing

Built for restaurant owners · head chefs · cloud kitchens · multi-outlet operators

Questions, answered

Does it change recipes or stock in Petpooja?

No. WebRun only reads recipe definitions and stock movements in Petpooja and writes findings to Airtable and Telegram. It never edits a recipe or adjusts stock, so your data stays intact.

What causes a variance flag?

A gap between the ingredients a dish should have used, based on its recipe and units sold, and what actually left stock. Over-portioning, waste, and pilferage all show up as an overrun.

Can it tell waste from theft?

Not on its own. It shows where and how much cost leaked so your chef can investigate. WebRun surfaces the variance and leaves the judgement of cause to a human.
