Automated Critical Result Notification Logging

Every hour, WebRun opens the Visage 7 worklist, finds studies flagged with a critical or actionable result, checks whether the required communication was documented, logs the accession number, flag time, and closure status to Google Sheets, and posts an alert to Microsoft Teams for anything still open.

In short

How do I keep an audit-ready log of critical result notifications from my PACS?

WebRun checks your Visage 7 worklist every hour for critical or actionable results, confirms whether the required communication was documented, and logs the accession number, flag time, and closure status to Google Sheets for compliance review. Anything still undocumented past your closure window gets flagged in Microsoft Teams, so no critical result notification goes untracked or unaudited.

  • Every critical result has a documented, timestamped closure or an open alert
  • Compliance reviews take minutes instead of manual chart pulls
  • No patient identifier ever leaves the system in the audit log

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.visageimaging.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Visage Imaging - find flagged critical results and their documentation status
    visageimaging.com
WebRun in Visage Imaging: find flagged critical results and their documentation status
WebRun opens Visage Imaging to find flagged critical results and their documentation status.
    • Open the Visage 7 worklist and filter to studies flagged critical or actionable
    • Check whether the required communication note has been entered for each
    • Capture accession number, modality, flag time, and the name of who documented the call

Done when Every critical result flagged this hour has a documented status, open or closed.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - log every critical result and its closure status
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log every critical result and its closure status
WebRun opens Google Sheets to log every critical result and its closure status.
    • Append a row for each critical result with its flag time and closure status
    • Keep a running audit log grouped by day for compliance review
    • Never write a patient name, only the accession number and ordering department

Done when The audit log has one row for every critical result flagged today.

  4. 3
Microsoft Teams - alert the team to any result still undocumented
    microsoft.com
WebRun in Microsoft Teams: alert the team to any result still undocumented
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to alert the team to any result still undocumented.
    • Post an alert listing any critical result still without a documented communication
    • Flag anything open longer than the required closure window
    • Leave the follow-up call to the radiologist or tech on record. WebRun never contacts the ordering provider itself

Done when The team has been alerted to every critical result missing its closure documentation.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Does WebRun call the ordering provider to communicate the result?

No. WebRun only checks whether the communication was already documented in Visage 7. The actual call stays with your radiologist or tech, WebRun just tracks whether it happened.

Does the log contain patient names?

No. The Google Sheets log only records the accession number, modality, flag time, and closure status, never a patient name or medical record number.

What counts as still open?

Any critical result without a documented communication note past your required closure window. WebRun reads that window from your policy and flags anything that exceeds it.

Put this on autopilot.
