Nexus Clinical Automated Seizure Log Reminders
Every morning, WebRun opens Nexus Clinical, finds epilepsy visits scheduled in the next three days, checks which patients have not logged a seizure count since their last appointment, drafts a Twilio text reminder for staff to review and send, and posts the clinical team a Microsoft Teams worklist of who still needs to update their log.
How do I make sure epilepsy patients update their seizure log before their visit?
WebRun checks Nexus Clinical every morning for epilepsy visits in the next three days and flags any patient whose seizure log has not been updated since their last appointment. It drafts a Twilio text reminder for staff to approve and posts the clinical team a Microsoft Teams worklist, so no patient arrives without a current seizure log on file.
- Every epilepsy visit in the next 3 days is checked for a current seizure log
- Staff get a daily worklist instead of checking each chart by hand
- No visit goes unflagged when a log is missing or more than 30 days old
Built for neurology clinics · epilepsy centers · epileptologists · clinical staff and MAs

Questions, answered
Will it text patients without a staff member approving first?
No. WebRun only drafts the reminder text in Twilio and queues it for staff review. Nothing goes to a patient until someone on your team approves and sends it.
How does it know a seizure log is missing?
It reads the log entry dates already recorded in the patient's Nexus Clinical chart and compares them against the visit date, so a patient who logged recently is skipped.
What if a patient has more than one upcoming visit?
Each visit is checked against the log independently, so a patient with visits on different days only gets flagged for the ones where their log is actually out of date.
