Automated EEG and MRI Result Follow-Up

Every hour, WebRun opens Nexus Clinical, finds EEG, MRI, and CT results that posted since the last check, drafts a plain-language follow-up email in Gmail for the ordering clinician to review and send, and posts the care team a Slack alert listing which results are new and which are still waiting on a clinician read.

In short

How do I follow up quickly when a new EEG or MRI result comes back?

WebRun checks Nexus Clinical every hour for newly posted EEG, MRI, and CT results, matches each to its ordering clinician, and drafts a plain-language follow-up email in Gmail for that clinician to review and send. It also posts a Slack alert ranking new results by priority, so critical findings reach a clinician's attention within the hour.

  • Critical results get flagged within the hour, not by end of day
  • Every new result gets a drafted, clinician-reviewed follow-up
  • No result sits in the queue unnoticed overnight

Questions, answered

Will it email patients their results directly?

No. WebRun only drafts a plain-language follow-up in the clinician's Gmail account and leaves it unsent. A clinician reviews and sends it, so no clinical detail reaches a patient unsupervised.

How does it prioritize which results to flag first?

It reads the priority the radiologist or neurophysiologist already set on the report, so anything marked critical is surfaced at the top of the Slack list.

What happens to results that already got a reply?

It reads the live chart status each hour, so a result already addressed by the clinician is skipped on the next run.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
