Automated MS Infusion Scheduling

Every morning, WebRun opens Nexus Clinical, finds MS patients whose next infusion (Ocrevus, Tysabri, or similar) is due within their protocol window, books the chair time in Google Calendar before the window closes, and posts the infusion nursing team a Microsoft Teams digest of this week's schedule and supply needs.

In short

How do I keep MS patients scheduled for their next infusion on time?

WebRun checks Nexus Clinical every morning for MS patients whose next infusion is due within their drug's protocol window, then books the chair time in Google Calendar before that window closes. It posts the infusion nursing team a Microsoft Teams digest of the week's schedule and supply needs, so no patient's Ocrevus or Tysabri infusion slips past its due date.

  • Every infusion due within 14 days gets checked against a booked chair slot
  • Nursing teams see the week's supply needs in advance
  • Unbooked at-risk patients are flagged instead of missed

Questions, answered

Will it notify the patient about the new appointment automatically?

No. WebRun only books the internal chair and nurse slot in Google Calendar. Confirming the appointment time with the patient remains a staff step, so no message goes out on its own.

How does it know when each patient's next infusion is due?

It calculates the due window from that patient's specific drug interval and their last documented dose in Nexus Clinical, so a patient on a 6 month protocol is not flagged early.

What happens if no chair time is open before the window closes?

That patient is flagged separately in the Microsoft Teams digest instead of being silently skipped, so the nursing team can free up a slot.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
