Automated Revel Menu Price Consistency Check
Every Monday, WebRun opens Revel Systems, reads the active menu and item prices at every location, compares each price against the master price list you maintain in Google Sheets, and writes a discrepancy report listing every item where a location is charging more or less than the intended price.
How do I automatically check menu price consistency across all my POS locations?
WebRun reads Revel Systems menu prices at every location each Monday, compares them against your master price list in Google Sheets, and writes a discrepancy report flagging every item where a location is charging the wrong amount. Questions, answered
Does it fix the wrong prices automatically?
No. WebRun reports discrepancies only. Updating prices in Revel Systems is done by your team so there is always a human check before any price is changed in the live system.
What if some locations are supposed to have different prices?
You can flag items in the master sheet as location-exempt, and WebRun will skip those comparisons. This handles regional pricing differences without generating false-positive alerts.
Can it check modifier and add-on prices as well?
Yes. If modifiers are priced in Revel, WebRun includes them in the comparison so add-on pricing inconsistencies are caught alongside main menu items.
