In short

How do I automatically reconcile my Lightspeed POS end-of-day totals?

WebRun pulls your Lightspeed end-of-day Z-report every evening, compares cash and card totals against expected amounts, logs the full reconciliation in Google Sheets, and posts a Slack summary with any discrepancies flagged. Your books stay accurate without a manual nightly comparison.

  • Discrepancies caught every evening rather than discovered at month-end
  • Running reconciliation log in Google Sheets covers every trading day
  • Multi-register and multi-location Z-reports consolidated automatically

Questions, answered

What counts as a discrepancy worth flagging?

You set the variance threshold, such as more than 5 dollars difference between expected and counted cash. WebRun flags any day where any payment type exceeds that threshold.

Does it replace my manual Z-report close-out?

It automates the logging and comparison step after your staff have closed the register in Lightspeed. The physical till count still happens at the register before WebRun runs.

Can it cover multiple tills or locations?

Yes. If your Lightspeed account has multiple registers or locations, WebRun can pull each one's Z-report and log them as separate rows in Google Sheets.

Put this on autopilot.
